Olivier Niyitanga, the founder of Tanga Designs has released a new collection of unique clothes and he dedicates his memories from this collection to his recent mother who passed away.

"When my mother passed away I was very sad and unhappy but I still want to make her proud of her son where she is resting in heaven. I made this dress like a butterfly because of the life it goes through and my mother's legacy.” Said Niyitanga.

Yesterday, during an interview with an IGIHE journalist, Niyitanga said that " The Cycle of Rebirth” collection was made from leftover pieces of clothes remaining while making different orders to his customers.

This collection and new clothing line is titled " The Cycle of Rebirth. The idea behind this collection came into action after Niyitanga 's creativity and imagination continue to grow as well as to adopt sustainable development of his business, especially in maintaining the waste from all his imported raw materials such as pieces of fabrics and beads.

"I've been taking leftovers of the different pieces of clothes, matching them, designing them, and making clothes instead of throwing them away, and reminds me of my mother who was very conservative," said Niyitanga

Niyitanga revealed that part of his confidence in his fashion career came from her mother whom he learned from the basics such as measuring, cutting, and tailoring. He added that his mother is the one who opened his eyes to focus on fashion designing and sewing which is now his daily job. " I am happy and very confident of my lovely mother and that is why I named this collection from her memories. She is the one who gave me the gift of sewing and designing, here we are now" Niyitanda added

Niyi Tanga Olivier, the founder of Tanga Designs, is one of the longest-serving fashion designers in the fashion industry, going on to serve for seven years. He had recently released other clothes that included what he called the "Nyambo Collection", "Nyambo Azura", "Ikamba Collection", " His-Story in The Making" and others.

Niyitanga Olivier, who founded Tanga Designs, is 26 years old. He was born and raised in Rwanda. He started her modeling career after finishing high school. He got into fashion as a hobby and spent a lot of time creating fashion styles and even started dressing people from his school.

He then went on to train until he saw that it would result in a career that would support him and start like that and that is when his dreams come true by establishing Tanga Designs as a business.

Niyitanga has dressed various celebrities in Rwanda and abroad and when Mr Eazi performed in Rwanda in 2017 he was wearing his clothes.
